New found happiness

As part of my day job i was required to learn pottery.. so about six months ago I began the journey of learning everything I possibly could to enable myself to confidently teach the basics... during this learning journey I have absolutely fallen in love with everything clay!

Everytime I complete a ceramic piece I feel amazed by how a lump of mud can turn into a solid permanent piece of something that once existed in your head as an idea. There is just so much to learn on this subject.. glazing is an absolute conundrum but that’s what I love about the world of clay! It won’t get boring.

I am very much looking forward to sharing these new skills and the artwork that will hopefully follow.
